The Dilli Chalo March is back today: Here are the traffic regulations for Delhi-NCR

Must read

Traffic restrictions have been put into place at the Delhi border and in the NCR areas of Noida and Greater Noida as farmers start their Dilli Chalo march. The Delhi Police have implemented special traffic arrangements and are urging commuters to avoid specific roads in the city’s central neighborhoods. Border crossings between Delhi and Haryana at Tikri and Singhu, as well as roads at the border with Ghazipur, have been heavily guarded and blocked off with barricades and police presence. The Ghazipur border may also be shut on Wednesday if necessary. Commuters in Greater Noida may experience traffic diversions due to a protest march led by the Tikritiya Kisan Union. Tractors and personal vehicles belonging to farmers are expected to gather around the Knowledge Park metro station and launch a march that will conclude at the Collectorate in Surajpur. Police have outlined specific traffic diversions to ensure smooth traffic movement during the protest. They have also advised people to take alternative routes to minimize inconvenience and provided a traffic helpdesk number in the event of traffic congestion.
