Tamil superstar Vijay has announced the formation of his political party, Thamizhaga Vetri Katchi, and this move has been welcomed by various political leaders and parties in Tamil Nadu. Veteran leader Vaiko of MDMK, Udayanidhi Stalin of DMK, K.Annamalai of BJP, and Seeman of NTK have all extended their support and good wishes to Vijay as he enters the political arena.
Vaiko emphasized that in a democratic country like India, everyone has the right to start a political party and he expressed hope that Vijay’s entry into politics would be beneficial for Tamil Nadu. Udayanidhi Stalin also stressed that in Indian democracy, everyone has the right to start a political party and he wished Vijay success in his endeavors to serve the public. K.Annamalai welcomed Vijay’s party and his goals of fighting against corrupt politics and serving the people.
Seeman also welcomed Vijay into politics but cautioned him that sustaining in politics would be a challenging task. Tamil Nadu Congress President KS Alagiri also expressed his support for Vijay’s entry into politics.
