He expressed satisfaction in seeing the shift from dynastic rule to a more inclusive governance model in the region, noting that the progress and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir are crucial for a developed India. Additionally, Modi mentioned the launch of several landmark projects in Jammu and Kashmir aimed at fostering holistic development across various sectors. He specifically mentioned the government’s commitment to education, noting the establishment of numerous schools, colleges, and universities in the region. As part of the ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jammu’ program, Modi interacted with beneficiaries of government schemes and distributed appointment letters to around 1,500 newly recruited government employees in Jammu and Kashmir. This demonstrates the government’s efforts to enhance employment opportunities and socioeconomic inclusion in the region.
