Congress ministers in ruling states are meeting with All India Congress Committee leadership to discuss Lok Sabha poll strategies. The party has appointed coordinators for specific constituencies in Telangana, Karnataka, and Jharkhand and is focusing on 255 seats for the elections. Meanwhile, the BJP is ramping up preparations, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah expected to visit Tripura and BJP national president J P Nadda visiting Arunachal Pradesh. The party is also set to convene a meeting of its National Council in mid-February and is unlikely to give tickets to candidates above the age of 70. Additionally, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal is heading to Goa to assess the party’s preparations for the elections after a visit to Gujarat.
