In a shocking incident, Nafe Singh Rathee, the president of Haryana’s INLD, was fatally shot in Jhajjar district. He was attacked by unidentified gunmen in a Hyundai i20 while traveling in his car. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The police are looking into the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s potential involvement in the murder. Rathee, a prominent Jat leader, had a diverse political career, facing legal troubles last year in a suicide case. He was also involved in the sports world, serving as the president of the Indian-style Wrestling Association of India. During the attack, his three private gunmen hired for security also sustained injuries. The assailants believed to be connected to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his associate Kala Jathedi. The motive behind the attack may be linked to property disputes.
