Central Agencies Take Action on Political Leaders, PM Modi Responds

Must read

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a jibe at the opposition in the Lower House of Parliament, stating that the crackdown by central agencies is only against corruption. He criticized the previous Congress government for using investigative agencies for political purposes and highlighted the significant increase in cases of money laundering and properties confiscated under his regime. He also emphasized how his government has kept inflation under control and transferred over Rs 30 lakh crore directly into people’s accounts through initiatives like DBT, Jan Dhan account, Aadhaar, and mobile transfers. PM Modi also attacked the Congress over issues like unemployment, OBC, dynastic politics, and the party’s approach as the opposition. He quoted the late PM Jawaharlal Nehru and late PM Indira Gandhi to highlight their negative mindset towards the country and the public. PM Modi commended the resolution of the opposition to sit in the opposition for a long time, similar to how they were in power for many decades. The Budget Session commenced on January 31 and will conclude on February 9, with about sixty speakers taking part in the debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s address in Lok Sabha.
