Election Strategist Prashant Kishor forecasts NDA’s strong victory in upcoming Lok Sabha elections

Must read

Prashant Kishor, a political strategist, made strong statements regarding the political situation in Bihar after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar rejoined the NDA. In an interview with Aaj Tak, Kishor criticized Kumar for leaving the Mahagathbandhan, which includes the RJD and Congress, and predicted that the BJP-led NDA would have a clean sweep in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He also claimed that Kumar’s party, the JD(U), would not be able to win more than 20 seats in the 2025 assembly elections, and that the JD(U)-BJP alliance would fail before the 2025 assembly elections.

Kishor called Nitish Kumar “cunning” and accused him of making desperate moves to save his political career, stating that the people have rejected him and that he can do anything to save his position. He also suggested that the political crisis in Bihar was an attempt by the BJP to destroy the opposition INDIA bloc, and that the BJP would benefit from contesting in Bihar alone.

The JD(U) ended its ties with the RJD and Congress, and Nitish Kumar took oath as Chief Minister of the NDA alliance for the ninth time after joining the Mahagathbandhan in 2022 and then severing ties with the BJP. Kishor criticized the BJP for being a party of flip-flops and claimed that all parties in Bihar, including the BJP, are unreliable. He also suggested that the BJP’s attempt to destroy the opposition INDIA bloc could backfire and hurt the party.

Overall, Kishor’s comments reflect the intense political dynamics in Bihar following Nitish Kumar’s rejoining of the NDA and the subsequent dissolution of the Mahagathbandhan. His predictions and criticisms of Kumar and the BJP shed light on the current political situation in the state and the potential implications for future elections.
