Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and his son Udhayanidhi Stalin criticized the BJP government for the arrest of Hemant Soren, the leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). They accused the BJP of trying to suppress the voices of opposition leaders and using investigative agencies to harass them. MK Stalin called the arrest a low-level act and an abuse of power, while Udhayanidhi Stalin condemned the arrest and accused the BJP of employing repressive actions to constrain the activities of opposition leaders. Both leaders expressed their support for Hemant Soren and his refusal to bow down to the BJP’s tactics, with Udhayanidhi stating that the public would take decisive action and oust the fascist people in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
